Lacroix Boards Mobile Application
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Data Collection
We collect analytics data to improve your experience with the Lacroix app. This includes app usage patterns, trip statistics, Bluetooth connection status, and app performance metrics. We also store device identifiers (a push-notification token and an installation ID) and, with your permission, your GPS location and ride routes. Our analytics events do not contain your name or contact details, and ride routes are end-to-end encrypted to your iCloud.
App Usage
How you navigate through the app and which features you use most
Trip Data
Your ride statistics and performance metrics, such as distance, duration, and speeds, used to improve your experience. Your recorded GPS route is not part of this — see Location & Routes.
Connection Data
Bluetooth connection status and device pairing information
Performance Data
App performance metrics and error reports to ensure reliability
Riding Profile Data
Which riding profile you select and its motor configuration values (speed limits and acceleration settings). This helps us tune default profiles over time.
Riding Behavior
Speed zone patterns and riding intensity data to help us understand how riders use their boards.
Location & Routes
Your GPS location and recorded ride route. Routes are stored privately in your iCloud (end-to-end encrypted) and are never sent to our analytics servers or sold.
Device & Notification Identifiers
A device installation ID and push-notification tokens used to deliver notifications and associate diagnostics with your device. Sent when notifications are enabled — independently of your analytics choice.
Data Usage
Your data is used to improve app performance and reliability, enhance user experience and features, identify and fix technical issues, and provide better customer support.

Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your personal information is never sold to third parties.
Your Rights
You can change your analytics preferences at any time in the app settings; turning analytics off also deletes your device's feature-settings snapshot from our servers. Push-notification and device-token data is controlled separately by the system notification permission, not the analytics toggle. You can also request deletion of your data by contacting our support team.
